Founded in 2006 by the family behind downtown Santa Barbara’s Spice Avenue, Goleta’s India Club, and Camarillo's Curry Leaf, Naan Stop took over the former Boba Tea House spot—and even kept boba drinks on the menu.
The mother of the family started her life in India before moving to England to start a family of her own. Once her two boys were of age to marry, they moved to the US in 2001, where her son's love of food and cooking brought us their first restaurant, Spice Avenue. Now one of Isla Vista's oldest restaurants, Naan Stop and its mother-son duo continue to serve up delicious Indian food for the IV community.
The owner and head chef being a huge fan of graffiti art, this collection features street art inspired designs.
